no straight lines: the art of CO-CREATION

{OFFICIAL LAUNCH COMING SOON}

  • Partners: The London School of Economics, Círculo de Bellas Artes & the Aspen Institute

    Bespoke multi-sensorial workshops that blend literature, philosophy, music, dance and abstract art to bring people together to discuss some of the pressing issues facing society today. These workshops are designed to cultivate imaginative play and enhance our capacity for metaphorical thinking, deepening our sense of connectedness between disciplines, between people and the natural world.

    Abstraction is the process of turning complex problems that we cannot fully describe into simpler ones that we think we can solve. By making art, participants construct new non-verbal forms of expression and experience the joy that comes from playful and engaging encounters. These experiences promote dynamic dialogue and break down barriers to interaction and collaboration.

    Clients include corporations, local and central government, universities, as well as primary and secondary schools.

    CORPORATE workshops are designed to address a range of challenges facing executive teams and the organisations they lead. In today's business world, organisations must align creativity with strategy to harness innovative thinking, fostering a culture that supports experimentation and learning from failures to drive success and sustainable growth. When employees are empowered to think creatively, breakthrough innovations and competitive advantages can emerge.

    ACADEMIC workshops engage participants in rich discussions exploring the merits of: (i) communicating socio-scientific research through non-written media; (ii) recognizing the value of creating beauty as a unifying force for greater knowledge sharing; and (iii) presenting research outcomes in alternative and emotionally resonant formats. Participants come away with a heightened ability to grasp and mobilise creative intuition, an openness to diverse perspectives, improved cognitive and sensorimotor functions, and the capacity to connect their research across disciplines, generating fresh insights.

    Public Sector & NGO workshops use similar methods, blending philosophical discourse with immersive creative experiences. They are designed to elicit new insights among team members around themes such as Values, Purpose and Well-Being.

    We are currently developing a new range of co-creative projects that will be integrated within hospitals, schools and prisons, aiming to foster personal growth, healing, and rehabilitation through the power of creative expression and philosophical inquiry.
